At Starfish, we understand each swimmer is an individual and cater our small classes to skill level, rather than age. Our full enclosed and heated facility, is where Starfish kids come to overcome their fears, learn-to-swim, respect the water and have lots of fun while doing it.

INFANT DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (6 MONTHS TO 2 YEARS) 30MIN MAX 4 STUDENTS PER CLASS
Starting at 6 months of age this class is unique to Starfish Fitness Swim School. Students will venture through the pool taking on tasks, games, and activities. These activities will help develop coordination and water awareness. Parents or carers are required to join in the fun

STARFISH TODDLERS (2 YEARS TO 3 YEARS) 30MIN MAX 4 STUDENTS PER CLASS
This fun class is a great introduction to swimming. Students will start learning the basics of stroke development in a fun and enjoyable environment. Parents or carers are required in the water

WATER APPRECIATION (4 YEARS +) 30MIN CLASS MAX 4 STUDENTS PER CLASS
This class will introduce those that are a little fearful or unsure of the water in a safe and friendly environment. Students will develop the confidence through activities to progress into learning swimming strokes

LEVEL 1 (ASSESSMENT BASED) 30MIN CLASS MAX 4 STUDENTS PER CLASS
As students’ progress, our focus is on developing good technique in freestyle and backstroke. Learning how to float, push and glide and kick are fundamentals to developing a good stroke. Students we develop basic arm stroke

LEVEL 2 (ASSESSMENT BASED) 30MIN CLASS MAX 4 STUDENTS PER CLASS
In this level students are introduced to a third stroke, Breaststroke. In learning this third stroke students develop the “feel” for the water.

LEVEL 3 (ASSESSMENT BASED) 30MIN CLASS MAX 4 STUDENTS PER CLASS
Students confident in swimming 3 strokes, strong and well, drills are now introduced in this level. This helps develop our strokes technique further. Butterfly is also introduced in this level

JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT (ASSESSMENT BASED) 45MIN CLASS MAX 10 STUDENTS PER CLASS
This is the first introduction to squad, students will learn how to dive, turn and scull. All four competitive strokes are practiced, with a focus on developing technique through drills and stroke correction
